Photo caption: Members of the Riverhead High School Bible Club raised more than $1,000 as part of their participation in the Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk, held on Oct. 22 at Riverhead’s Suffolk County Community College Campus. Under the direction of adviser Leyda Flores, the club’s original goal was $500, but with the assistance of friends, families and teachers, they were able to surpass their goal.
